Our mission is grounded in improving quality of life through advanced sensor technology and predictive analytics to deliver timely interventions with a more holistic, proactive model of care. Decades ago, we were introduced to innovative technology that was improving the quality of life and aging in place, by the University of Missouri – Columbia researchers. And we thought to ourselves, “How can we make this technology available to everyone?” This vision is why we created Foresite, empowering individuals to live safely and comfortably without changing their lifestyle or invading their privacy.

The Foresite Story

Foresite was born from a mission to make aging safer and more fulfilling. Founded in 2013 as a university spin-off, our roots reach back to pioneering research at the Center for Eldercare and Rehabilitation Technology and Aging in Place. With The National Institute of Health (NIH) and The National Science Foundation (NSF) funding, they blended clinical insight with engineering prowess. Today, Foresite uses advanced sensor technology and predictive analytics to detect early signs of potential issues—including fall risk, acute illnesses, or chronic exacerbations—enabling early intervention and proactive care. This technology empowers seniors to lead healthier, safer lives while reducing injuries and healthcare costs, redefining how we care for our aging population.
